The Klingons are Here!!!
We have been the fiercest adversary of the Federation, and recently it's staunchest ally. We are a ruthless warrior race, driven by an instinct for violence and defined by a complex code of honor. To survive, we must push outward. Conquer our enemies and claim land for the glory of our Empire. We are Klingons.
We seek all who have the heart of a warrior to join us in telling the continuing story of the Klingon Empire. We are a group of writers who pride ourselves on our portrayal of Star Trek’s Klingon Race based on the canon of the Star Trek genre.
Our Role Playing game is based on the frontier colony world of H’atoria and the newly constructed Klingon Star base that orbits it. Already the players are building the back stories for their characters and preparing for our game start on October 1, 2011.
We welcome players of all levels and any canon Star Trek species is allowed but it should be noted that this is a Klingon game, based within the Klingon Empire and as such any character of another race or species should act accordingly to avoid being challenged to the death.
We encourage character development and the intertwining of stories and houses within the game. We will be running Station and ship based “missions” but our main objective is for each player to tell their story along with the story of the setting.
Several positions are available.
USS Valkyrie: A new Galaxy
My name is Vice-Admiral Talim Meran and if you like to get stuck in a new galaxy with strange new places and strange new species. Then the USS Valkyrie can offer you that chance.
We're still star trek, we're still exploring, but we're also trying to get back home. Something like a mix of Voyager and Stargate: Universe.
History and Origin:
The USS Valkyrie is a pro to-type vessel and is a Nova class refit. the Nova class is equipped with a trans-warp engine, designed to travel great distances, greater then was possible so far. Yet the engine is still in a test phase. It was being build in the dry-docks of Star base Hope. While the engines were developed on the nearby colony: Port Royale. Where most new technology was tested and developed until recently. Both the Star base and Port Royale were under attack by an unknown enemy. Crew members claimed to see ancient spirits and strange things were happening. Till Vice-Admiral Talim Meran and Vice admiral Laban Marci, the highest flag officer on the Star base, decided to destroy both the colony and star base by means of self destruct. And no one was to be left behind. No cadet, no captain, no one.
An unmanned USS Ottawa, Steamrunner class, was send to star fleet, to inform star fleet of the evacuation on to the Valkyrie and several support vessels. None of these vessels were ever found again.
As the Valkyrie went to warp, the Star base exploded, but the explosion was larger then anticipated and pushed the Valkyrie in to transwarp, but the field was so unstable it dragged the support vessels along, including a nearby freighter and dropped them off in a galaxy far far away, leaving the Valkyrie's warp engines damaged. They're are dropped off near hostile territory, which they don't know. And they make first contact. Also on board the Valkyrie is someone who may know more about this galaxy then she is letting on. Is she a spy or can she be trusted?
The crew:
Crew is a bit unbalanced. So we don't ask much from new recruits. Currently we have a colonel running the marines, while our main pilot is a Senior cadet. This because the Star base also housed a senior class academy. So it's kind off mixed up. Also some of the crew can still be dealing with what had happened on the star base.
What the Valkyrie needs:
Chief Engineer
Chief Science officer (A stellar Cartographer would be great)
Chief Medical officer
Chief Diplomatic officer
Chief Intelligence/Strategic officer
You are welcome to check out our support vessels, with exception of the Firefly which is completely NPC'd and currently the Archon is closed because it's commander is a bit AWOL, but the Woodland is open for new recruits. Although we do ask you to be a part of the main story, which is the Valkyrie. All the support vessels manifests can be found on the SMS.

Please apply at the SMS first for your desired position. Once you are approved you can create an account on the forum. Only then, because to keep spammers out off the forum we keep registration closed. So you need to be approved first before you can make an account on the forum!
When can I join:
TO join the USS Valkyrie as a sim you must be 16 years old or older. We make no exception. The General board areas are 13+ but the RP areas are 16+ unless specified otherwise.
A new species:
On the Valkyrie we welcome all new species (Talim is a diplomat). We do ask if you sign up your character as a new species, you must add some additional information on this new species. In the SMS wiki you can find what we need off information for a new species. You can also find some non canon species information there. Also we would like the species to be star trek appropriate. I had a debate about the Sayins as a species, which is cool, but I want it to be Star trek worthy. So the Sayins perse don't transform in to Super Sayins. That kind of stuff. I allow Star Gate species to be in the storyline. But again, I need their additional info before I can approve. As they're not Star trek canon species. This goes for other Sci-fi as well.

Serve the Vulpine Empire
I'm looking for department heads and assorted crew members for my ST simm that's a little bit different. It's based off a race designed by myself, there's more information on the site itself.
Here's the roster to show the vacant positions. http://rvnsfairmaidenshand.forumotio...-duty-roster#4
Any questions then email me on ethan_doig@hotmail.co.uk. The address is also my IM handle. Hope to hear from you soon
The ship's origin is that of the Vulpine Empire. For millennia they've been under siege from the Klingons, Kzinti and Romulans but managed to (barely) hold them back with their powerful yet small fleet and an army of loyal, genetically enhanced soldiers (trust me, god-mod isn't even an option there)
In 2373 they joined the Federation thereby gaining the obvious perks such as diplomatic and military protection. Now with the guns of their enemies at a rest the Vulpine people find themselves in a strange moment; peace. It's now 2400 and the future of the Empire and its people are uncertain.
The Royal Vulpine Naval Ship Fair Maiden's Hand*has been commissioned for a mission exploration. While some Vulpine have joined Starfleet the majority of them still take commissions within the Vulpine military.
You can either join as a Vulpine: A proud and hardy people who's genetic enhancements have kept them from tipping over the edge towards defeat.
A Lupus: A Vulpine 'subspecies' when the genetic enhancements fail to take hold. They do not possess increased strength, speed, lifespan and all of the other advantages but they are still Vulpine through and through-an option for those who find genetic enhancements hard to play without going over the top and still enjoy the cultural aspect.
A non-Vulpine Naval Officer: For the first time the Navy is accepting alien candidates from Federation species. Maybe your mother or father as Vulpine, maybe you found it a better career prospect to Starfleet. You decide.
Starfleet Exchange Officer: Thanks to Federation membership Starfleet Officers now have the ability to temporally transfer their commission to the Vulpine Naval Fleet.
The Tiptree Chronicles
There was a time when Star fleets only goal was to seek out new life and go where no man has gone before. That mission over time was lost to the constant skirmishes and war that Star Fleet and the Federation seemed to have faced over many years. That time has now passed an uneasy truce in the four quadrants has allowed Star Fleet to return to its original mission of exploration. Whilst the Federations looks to unit once bitter foes. The USS Tiptree is launched to Continue where great ships have left off and to return a long forgotten legacy.
I am looking for a number of positions in all departments
Chief Science Officer
Chief Medical Officer
Assistant Security Chief
Assistant Medical Chief
Marines Co
Marine Xo
All other Positions as well considered.
